Cathedral Antiques Show Announces 2013 Corporate Sponsors
Community Outreach Program Garners Support of 50 Metro Atlanta Companies

ATLANTA ? The 2013 Cathedral Antiques Show (www.cathedralantiques.org) today announced that 50 metro Atlanta companies have pledged their financial and in-kind support of the 42nd Annual Cathedral Antiques Show and Tour of Homes. All proceeds from these sponsorships benefit Refugee Family Services (RFS), a not-for-profit that aids refugee families in the Atlanta area helping them to achieve self-sufficiency by providing education and economic opportunities. ???
?This annual event is major outreach project led by the Episcopal Church Women of the Cathedral of St. Philip,? said Marion Williams, event co-chair. ?Our corporate sponsors? participation is vital to our success in providing RFS with the financial support it needs to continue its work in Atlanta. The Cathedral Antiques Show set for January 31, Feb. 1 ? 2, 2013, is Atlanta?s oldest and most prestigious antiques show.? With the help of hundreds of volunteers and support from the church, the Atlanta community, antiques dealers and event sponsors and patrons, the Antiques Show and its Tour of Homes and Inspiration House have raised almost $4 million for Atlanta-area non-profits since 1969.? The event focuses on a Passion for a Purpose and attracts participants and attendees of all ages from around the country who enjoy art, design, decorating and learning about antiques.? Refugee Family Services is a dynamic, community-based organization which has grown and adapted to the changing needs of the Atlanta refugee community for more than 25 years.? RFS works with over 2,000 families each year to help them achieve their goals and thrive as new Americans.? Refugees are legally eligible to work from the day they step off the plane at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and are eager to succeed in their new lives.?
